Spokane Shock Clinches Playoff Berth with 61-43 Win over Pittsburgh Power with Seven PATs from Taylor Rowan
Rolling Hills Estates, CA (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- The AFL's Spokane Shock has built up a five game winning streak resulting in a playoff berth with the first round on August 1 at 7PM against the Chicago Rush. The winning streak is attributed to wins against the Utah Blaze, Tampa Bay Storm, Jacksonville Sharks, San Antonio Talons, and most recently the Pittsburgh Power. Spokane's kicker Taylor Rowan had seven PATs in the win against Pittsburgh and 11 kickoffs totaling 581 yards.
After the most recent win against Pittsburgh, Taylor Rowan commented, "The coaches have been letting me drop kick in some games so hopefully they let me do it more in the playoffs."
Sports Agent Jill McBride Baxter says, "I'm very happy with the way Taylor is kicking and the way the Shock are playing. I hope they continue to win throughout the playoffs."
