Spokeo Announces Jason Matthes as Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Matthes joins the people search engine with more than 10 years of experience providing strategic legal counsel to both public and privately-held software and data companies.

Matthes most recently worked as vice president and general counsel of Appriss, a private equity-owned provider of software and data solutions. Prior to Appriss, he served as vice president and general counsel at Cortera. Early in his career, Matthes assumed a key in-house legal role at Seisint, a venture-backed data provider that was acquired by LexisNexis; he continued on with LexisNexis following the acquisition as senior counsel for LexisNexis Risk Management. Matthes also previously held senior roles at the software unit of ABB, the global leader in power and automation technologies, and the receivables management division of TSYS, a global payment processing company.
Matthes obtained his B.A. at the University of Miami and his J.D. at Nova Southeastern University.
