Sport and Spine Rehab’s Dr. Jenn Davis Receives CCSP
Rockville, MD (PRWEB) December 26, 2013 -- The mission of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians is as follows:
"Promoting the highest standards of excellence and clinical competence for chiropractors specializing in sports medicine and physical fitness."
The CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician) certification requires the doctor to attend a minimum of 100 class hours of a 120 hour postgraduate CCSP program. Following the completion of these hours, the doctor must take and successfully pass a comprehensive written examination to receive the CCSP certification. In order to maintain the CCSP in good standing, doctors are required to obtain 12 CEUs (continuing education units) per year to remain active.
Sport and Spine Rehab is proud to announce that Dr. Jenn Davis, associate at the Sport and Spine Rehab of Rockville location, recently received her CCSP certification.
Sport and Spine Rehab’s services go way beyond the back pain and neck pain traditionally associated with chiropractors and include extremity care, sports injuries, and conditioning.
Sport and Spine Rehab provides chiropractic, physical therapy, and rehab services at seven locations in the Maryland and Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C. and Baltimore.
