Spring-Green Lawn Care to Host National Training Conference
Plainfield, Ill. (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- Spring-Green Lawn Care will host the 2013-14 National Training Conference (NTC) August 7-9 at the Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, Ill.
The theme of the conference is “Building for Profit” and franchise owners from 26 states as well as employees and vendors will be in attendance.
“This event is designed to provide franchise owners with information and actionable ideas to profitably build their businesses,” said president James Young. “The ideas presented at this conference are the building blocks to increasing profitability, allowing franchise owners the opportunity to reach their goals and dreams. It’s the individual goals and dreams that fuel the long term success of the Spring-Green organization.
“Spring-Green has created this world-class event to harness the collective knowledge of owners, staff and vendors with the goal of accelerating our journey to achieve both individual and collective success. I can tell you without hesitation, the NTC is a culmination of a tremendous amount of work and resources,” Young continued. “We welcome our franchisees, their families and their employees to our home field. Everyone comes eager to work and learn more about growing a successful business; it’s also a time where everyone in the Spring-Green family reconnects on a personal level, sharing successes in business and in life.”
Over the three-day event, conference-goers will attend panels, roundtables and a trade show offering expert advice on helping attendees grow their business.
The event kicks off with profit-building discussion tracks on increasing profitability, building employee handbooks, using a payroll service and planning for retirement. Attendees will then move onto panel discussions where they will learn about the latest innovations, trends and offerings within the green industry.
Day two of the conference begins and ends with roundtables on various topics such as growing sales, improving customer retention, sales techniques, reducing costs and managing employees. The roundtable hosts include successful franchisees and leaders from the Spring-Green support center. Also on the day’s schedule is a trade show featuring more than 20 leading lawn care manufacturers and distributors. The companies exhibiting at the trade show will also facilitate the afternoon agronomic and productivity track roundtables.
In the evening, conference attendees will get together for food and entertainment, including a silent auction. The Fisher House is the beneficiary of this year’s silent auction. The Fisher House Foundation is best known for the network of comfort homes built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers nationwide and in Europe.
The final day of the conference will focus on marketing and technology and will feature presentations by James Young and Don Peppers, author and a founding partner of Peppers & Rogers Group, a customer-centric management consulting firm.
The conference wraps up with an awards banquet recognizing the achievements of Spring-Green franchisees and employees.
