SQ1.tv to Launch Business Television Network this Fall
New York, NY (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- SQ1.tv, pronounced "square one", announced plans today to launch its business television network this fall. The company is pursuing distribution deals with pay TV providers including major cable, satellite, and telco providers. All SQ1.tv programming will be available to authenticated subscribers of partner pay TV providers. The network will initially launch online with a selection shows accessible to paid subscribers to validate its programming.
"Business television is a much bigger market than what CNBC, Fox Business, and Bloomberg are currently tapping into. Business television can be about so much more than minute-by-minute coverage of stock markets," said Bhu Srinivasan, Founder and CEO of SQ1.tv. "We have the opportunity to reinvent business television."
SQ1’s founder is an experienced entrepreneur having built content brands in magazine publishing, gaming, financial content, and serves as an advisor to numerous start-ups. The company will be announcing several strategic partnerships in May.
SQ1 is built on the belief that business is a positive, aspirational, and creative pursuit for millions of Americans. Each SQ1 show looks to go inside a topic, business, or industry to explore in-depth its economics, operating details, people, and numbers.
The fall line-up includes:
