SquareTwo Financial CEO Paul A. Larkins Inducted Into Equipment Finance Hall of Fame
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) November 18, 2015 -- SquareTwo Financial, a leader in the $100 billion asset recovery and management industry, today announced that Paul A. Larkins, president and CEO, has been inducted into the Equipment Finance Hall of Fame, which honors industry giants and recognizes their contributions during a special ceremony at the annual Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) annual convention. Larkins is one of seven distinguished individuals in the 2015 Equipment Finance Hall of Fame class.
“Paul is an industry trailblazer, mentor and dedicated volunteer,” said William G. Sutton, ELFA president and CEO, during the recent induction ceremony. “Paul has mentored executives at many industry companies, helping their careers to flourish. He has also contributed to ELFA in numerous capacities.”
To be considered for induction into the Equipment Finance Hall of Fame, a candidate must have made a significant impact on the equipment finance industry. “These industry pioneers have contributed so much to our industry and our association,” Sutton said. “Their accomplishments — from blazing new trails in equipment finance, to mentoring the next generation, to serving our association — leave a lasting legacy that will inspire generations to come.”
Over three decades, Larkins served the ELFA in numerous capacities, including chairing its Government Affairs Committee, serving as a member of its board of directors and, ultimately, serving as ELFA chairman from 2005 to 2006. During his tenure, he took great pride in helping to establish the industry's Principles of Fair Business Practices, including a thorough revision of its Code of Fair Business Practices. He also implemented the Association's Strategic Planning Process, creating systemic accountability and scorecards by which the association served its members.
