Stadia Sports Install New Players Tunnel at Leeds United Football Club
(PRWEB UK) 24 January 2014 -- Stadia Sports, leading suppliers of professional sports equipment in the UK for more than 30 years, installed a new players tunnel at Elland Road, the home of Leeds United Football Club for their Sky Sports televised match against Leicester City Football Club on Saturday.
The new players tunnel was financed by Leeds United Football Club’s sponsor Crosswater and installed on short notice, just a day before the high profile game.
Crosswater’s logos were printed on the tunnel both to the sides and also on an additional header panel above the entrance, which was clearly visible when the players entered the pitch live on Sky Sports. Stadia Sports supplied similar tunnels to various other football clubs throughout the UK including League One side Port Vale FC and continues to provide training goal posts to many Barclays Premier League football teams.
Dedicated transport was arranged from the manufacturer in Southern Europe to ensure that the equipment got to Leeds before the day of the game to meet the installation team at the stadium. The installers, sub-contracted by Stadia Sports, were big Leeds fans and were delighted to receive match day tickets for the game as a thank you for the service received.
Daniel Goddard, Managing Director of Stadia Sports, said: “We were delighted to help Leeds United Football Club on a short lead time. We have a long history of supplying directly to sports clubs, local authorities, schools and individual professionals. This is another example of how we are able to meet the diverse needs of a range of clients.”
With over 30 years experience in supplying the widest range of sporting equipment in the UK, Stadia Sports is committed to bringing its customers the highest possible quality sports equipment from well-known brands including Mitre, Dunlop and Nordic Sport.
