Stafford Communications Holds Day Long Celebration to Raise Money for Breast Cancer
New Providence, NJ (PRWEB) October 23, 2013 -- Stafford Communications, a New Providence based customer service consulting company, will be taking part in the in the breast cancer awareness program called “Sleep Pink” on October 23rd. Sleep Pink is a national movement of pink pajama parties where women and men can promote awareness and celebrate breast cancer survivors.
In support of the program, Stafford’s employees will be wearing pink pajamas and then submitting a group photo to the Estroven Facebook Page. In exchange, both Stafford Communications and the makers of Estroven will each donate $250 to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. In addition, staff will be photographed in their pajamas throughout the day and for every photo submission of an individual in pink pajamas, Estroven will donate $100 to benefit the organization.
"Stafford Communications has many families and friends who have been affected by this disease," states President, CJ Stafford. “Personally, I lost a very dear friend to breast cancer and try to honor her memory by participating in programs that will help raise money for cancer research. It is sad to think that literally everyone knows someone with cancer. So, through our relationship with our client, i-Health, makers of Estroven, we are thrilled to be a part of such a positive movement of people helping find the cure. With our office participation, we know we can help make a difference. We hope that other companies will follow our lead and have their own Pink Pajama Party to benefit such a valuable cause.”
"During the day long celebration, Stafford will present their employees with pink robes embroidered with the pink ribbon. A portion of the proceeds from these robes is donated to breast cancer research. In addition, we purchased pink and white bracelets, made by an employee’s child who wanted to raise money for breast cancer. Even the men are wearing the pink robes and bracelets to show their support," states Stafford. "It will be a fun day and represents what our Company is all about; commitment, loyalty and, of course, fun!" In addition to the robes, there will be pink drinks, food, and Stafford will utilize their “pink room” in honor of celebrating all things pink.
