StaffScheduleCare Meets CMS-PBJ Reporting Requirement
Richmond Hill, ON (PRWEB) April 13, 2016 -- StaffScheduleCare, an industry leader in on-demand workforce management solutions for Long Term Care & Retirement facilities, today announced that, in cooperation with multiple customers, it has successfully submitted the required staffing data to meet the new CMS PBJ Reporting requirements. StaffScheduleCare’s Time and Attendance and Human Capital Management suite offers a complete employee and vendor PBJ solution, including:
• The tracking and calculation of employee AND vendor hours – no need to manually add in vendor hours or track through multiple systems
• Compliance with all PBJ-required fields including hours, labor category, hire and termination dates, and census
• Audit capabilities to ensure accuracy of net worked hours and labor type/class reported
• The submission to CMS via transmission of a validated PBJ XML file
Beginning July 1st, 2016, The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will require long-term care facilities to electronically submit direct care staffing information, including 3rd party vendor and agency staff. The Payroll Data Submission – Payroll Based Journal (PBJ) Reporting requires the staffing data, along with census information, to be reported based on payroll and other auditable data.
CMS makes staffing data publicly available on its Nursing Home Compare website, which features the Five-Star Quality Rating System. The system uses information from Staffing, Health Care Surveys and Quality Measures, as a tool to allow consumers to compare nursing care centers.
StaffScheduleCare’s robust workforce and human capital management suite offers capabilities designed to assist providers in management of their Five-Star Rating, as well as ACA full-time/part-time employee management.
