Standard Process Inc. Awards Scholarship to Cleveland University-Kansas City Student
PALMYRA, Wis. (PRWEB) May 09, 2017 -- Standard Process Inc. awarded Kyle Hedlund, a student at Cleveland University-Kansas City with a $2,500 scholarship. He accepted his award March 6 at the university’s Standard Process Classroom. Every year Standard Process awards more than $90,000 in scholarships to students pursuing holistic health care.
“This scholarship is personal to me because I was obese at one point in my life, and nutrition and supplementation helped me become a healthier person,” Hedlund said. “I firmly believe nutrition and dietary supplementation are an essential part of chiropractic care and I plan to emphasize their importance with my patients. Thank you for the scholarship and the opportunity.”
Hedlund is an honors student with a GPA of 3.75 in his fifth trimester of a challenging 12-trimester program. He is expected to graduate in May of 2019 and plans to use the scholarship to further his education.

For students to qualify for a Standard Process scholarship, they must meet the following criteria:
• Have at least one trimester remaining before graduation
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Provide a list of their contributions to the chiropractic profession, the college and the community
• Provide a letter of recommendation from a faculty member
• Provide a written response to the given question that applies to their field of study
