Standard Process Inc. Receives Honors for Community Leadership
Palmyra, Wis (PRWEB) November 27, 2013 -- Whole food supplement manufacturer Standard Process Inc. was recently recognized for its community leadership by Opportunities, Inc. The Fort Atkinson, Wis.-based organization’s Community Employment division honored Standard Process with an Employer Recognition Award for its exemplary partnership in promoting Opportunities, Inc.’s mission of employment and independence for individuals with disabilities and other life barriers.
“Standard Process has gone above and beyond in providing work experiences to local students with disabilities, as well as, providing disability awareness training for their employees,” says Kayla Oschmann, Opportunities, Inc. agency relations specialist. “Their support and flexibility is truly appreciated. Standard Process, located in Palmyra, has partnered with Opportunities, Inc. for more than a decade. The company provides on-site training and employment to local students in Opportunities, Inc.’s Transition Program. Through this program, the two organizations help individuals learn and refine employability skills in a positive team environment.
