Standifer Insurance Group and the Children’s of Alabama Burn Center Announce Cooperative Charity Drive to Benefit Pediatric Burn Patients
Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) July 18, 2016 -- Standifer Insurance Group, a family owned insurance and financial planning firm that provides coverage to residential and business clients throughout northern Alabama, is continuing on a joint charity drive with Children’s of Alabama to support the Camp Conquest program for pediatric burn patients.
The Standifer Insurance team has been consistently supporting the Camp Conquest program for several years. As of this writing, the team has gathered over $3,000 for the cause from local residents so far. A Rally Day supporting the charity drive has been scheduled for July, and the Standifer team hopes to reach their funding goal of $4,000 by the end of this summer.
“Our team has been supporting Camp Conquest for a number of years now, and it’s amazing how effective the program is at helping children heal and have fun with new friends,” says Jessup Standifer, manager and owner of Standifer Insurance Group.
Standifer and his team have initiated a social media campaign and launched an email update system to share information about the Camp Conquest charity event with families and businesses in nearby communities. Standifer Insurance Group has supported several other charity events benefitting the Camp Conquest program over the last few years. From here forward, Standifer and his team plan to assist at least one Birmingham-area non-profit or charitable cause every other month.
