Standifer Insurance Group Announces Toys for Tots Charity Drive Benefitting Underprivileged Children in Southern Birmingham
Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) November 17, 2015 -- Standifer Insurance Group, a family owned insurance firm that provides coverage for hundreds of businesses and families in and around Birmingham, is launching a Toys for Tots charity drive in an effort to provide underprivileged children in the area with wrapped holiday gifts.
The US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is one of the most recognizable national charities, and provides gift-wrapped toys to children from underprivileged, homeless, and financially disadvantaged families across the country. Many agencies and organizations in cities throughout the nation work with Toys for Tots, and the Birmingham community is no exception.
“If we can make sure just one more little boy or girl is able to open a present on Christmas morning and feel loved, then this has all been worth it,” says Jessup Standifer, owner of Standifer Insurance Group.
In an effort to spread the word about the Toys for Tots charity drive among fellow community members, Standifer and his team are mobilizing a social media presence as well as an email awareness campaign. In addition to supporting the Birmingham Toys for Tots charity drive, Standifer Insurance Group has worked with several other Birmingham-are charities and causes over recent months, and plans to work with at least one new local charity every 60 days from here forward.
