San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) February 28, 2014 -- StarMaker Interactive, a leading interactive music entertainment platform producing mobile singing games, has partnered with multi-platinum selling artist Gavin DeGraw to promote the hot new single, “Make a Move.” Fans can record customized versions of the track using StarMaker apps for the chance to win an exclusive, limited edition set of framed and signed DeGraw lyrics. Gavin himself will listen to the top vote getters and pick the best talent from StarMaker. The contest runs through March 7, 2014.
To participate, contestants download the StarMaker app, available through the iTunes App Store and Google Play, and use its studio-quality voice effects to record themselves singing “Make a Move” for free. StarMaker’s sophisticated proprietary scoring technology provides instant feedback, enabling contestants to improve their score each time they sing the song. When participants nail their performance, they can publish it to their StarMaker profile and watch as the StarMaker community listens and votes on their submission. The top 10 StarMaker artists will be posted on the leaderboard throughout the contest and, following the contest’s close, Gavin DeGraw will listen to the top 10 recordings and select the winner.
Gavin DeGraw is the latest artist to partner with StarMaker, which also hosted a contest with Cassadee Pope, Season 3 winner of “The Voice,” late last year to promote her new single, “Wasting All These Tears.” A massive number of recordings of the tune were logged over the four week campaign, driving the single to chart on the Hot 100, reaching No. 10 on country radio. The company most recently collaborated with the Plain White T’s to discover the best cover of their new single “The Giving Tree.”
“Music distribution is ever evolving, and StarMaker offers an opportunity for new and established musicians to get in front of a highly engaged audience,” said Nathan Sedlander, president and co-founder of StarMaker Interactive. “For aspiring stars or über fans, our apps provide a platform to connect with the music and the music industry itself, and ultimately have the potential to get discovered – without the middleman.”
With a growing library featuring hundreds of the biggest hit songs and new tracks added every day, StarMaker Interactive is leading the mobile singing game revolution through the creation of original content using innovative game mechanics to discover new talent.
