Start a New Family Tradition With Holiday Art Workshops at Santa Fe Art Classes during December

The first, a drop-in ornament painting class, will be held on Saturday, December 12th from 11AM- 5PM. The second, a farolito painting class, will take place on Saturday, December 19th from 2-4PM.

Participants of the drop-in ornament painting class will create 6x6-inch paintings of the colorful trinkets. They will be able to select from a number of original images to use as a guide to their own painting, then be guided step-by-step through their painting. Participants will walk away with a piece that they can cherish for years to come. It is also a fun family activity and both children (over 6 years old) and adults are encouraged to to tap into their creative spirit.
Participants in the ornament workshop can either pre-register at the SantaFeArtClasses.com website or pay at the door on the day of the class. $20 per person.
Attendees of the farolito workshop will embrace Santa Fe’s rich cultural heritage by creating a piece based on the interplay of the city’s unique architecture and the festivity of the farolitos. They will select from two source images to inspire their own works in a 2-hour, step-by-step, guided painting class.
