Starting College This Week: Get a SunPass
Miami, Fla. (PRWEB) August 27, 2013 -- The Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) joins Miami Dade College (MDC) on Wed., Aug. 28, 2013, to give away free SunPasses and promote driver safety at the Kendall (11011 SW 104 ST Miami, FL 33176), North (11380 NW 27th Ave Miami, FL 33167) and Wolfson (300 NE Second Ave. Miami, FL 33132) campuses during semester "Welcome Back" activities. The events will take place at each location from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
MDX will give away a free SunPass Mini to any MDC student or faculty member who wants to open a new account. All that's needed is a debit or credit card and the vehicle's license plate number. Additionally, MDX will provide information on safe driving and the dangers of distracted driving.
"This is a wonderful opportunity to partner with Miami Dade College to interact with students, faculty and staff on the importance of safe driving while giving away free SunPasses," said Javier Rodriguez, MDX Executive Director.
