State of the Art Dog Daycare Facility Arrives in Jacksonville, FL

However, as relatives arrive from other parts of the country, one member of the family may not appreciate new relatives. A dog may behave differently around people unknown. Fortunately, Happy Hound Dog Resorts has built a state of the art dog daycare facility with experienced staff to allow dogs to socialize with other dogs, people and manage some of that anxiety found in the home with new people in close spaces.
Dog daycare starts early in the morning, with staff arriving at 7 am. The dogs are watched and observed by at least 2 to 3 staff members, and with clients watching through digital cameras, personnel work on commands to create a stable environment. Dogs are allowed to remain on the floor until the top of every hour. At which time, the dogs are led out to the secure outside area where they are allowed fresh air, a place to do their business and continue with basic dog commands. After a period of 15-20 minutes outside, the dog handlers call the dogs to come back in onto the rubber dog daycare floor. This happens regularly during the day, until owners arrive and take the tired dog home around 6 pm.

About Happy Hound Dog Resorts
Happy Hound Dog Resorts operates dog boarding, daycare, grooming and training Monday through Saturday. Pickups and drop-offs of boarding dogs are allowed on Sundays, but no other services. The facility features 15,000 square feet of indoor space. Approximately 5,000 square feet of rubber floor space is used with dog daycare with another 1,500 square feet available for outside use.
