StateChamps Recognized for Excellence in Innovation

In the “Promotion, Sponsorship, and Fundraising” category, StateChamps was awarded the gold medal, the highest recognition possible in the category.

With SHARE AND TEAR™, tickets can be purchased online, via smartphone, or via the company’s toll-free U.S.-based call center. The tickets are then delivered to a proprietary app on the ticket purchaser’s smartphone. Tickets can then be transferred, or “shared” to family members’ and friends’ smartphones through the app.
According to Athletic Management, this innovation helps schools to avoid the traditional risks associated with scanning ticket printouts, which can expose athletic programs to the potential of fraud and revenue loss.
StateChamps was also recognized as a finalist in the “Outdoor Facility Components” award, for its forward-thinking approach that can actually lessen the need for infrastructure and facilities at athletic events.
By offering fans the ability to purchase tickets to events online ahead of time, and with a credit card, athletic programs shorten admission lines and reduce the need for fans to carry cash.
