Stauch Appointed Director of Technical Development and Training at Stanley Consultants
MUSCATINE, Iowa (PRWEB) March 27, 2015 -- Stanley Consultants has appointed Pete Stauch, P.E.,S.E., as the company’s Director of Technical Development and Training, and chair of the Technical Committee. Stanley Consultants is a consulting engineering firm with offices worldwide.
As Director of Technical Development and Training, Stauch provides leadership on employee technical training and development including member continuing education, technical presentations by members to industry groups, quality assurance/quality control for the technical organization, and manages the technical budget. The Technical Committee, composed of the company’s engineering discipline experts (referred to as chiefs), establishes and maintains technical standards, tools, and procedures throughout the company, and provides technical leadership and communication for business development.
As chair, Stauch provides technical leadership to the engineering discipline chiefs and associate chiefs, fosters technical collaboration among the company’s business units and offices worldwide, creates and appoints employees to technical subcommittees, and acts as a liaison to senior management. He will also continue to serve as the company’s chief structural engineer and as a senior project manager.

Stauch has nearly 40 years of professional experience. He joined Stanley Consultants in 2006 and was appointed Chief Structural Engineer in 2012. He has a diverse background as a project manager and technical expert on power generation and power delivery projects, industrial plant design, government facilities, and seismic design. Stauch has a degree in civil engineering and is a licensed professional civil and structural engineer in several states.
