Stay Roasted Launches as the ‘Netflix’ of Freshly Roasted Coffee Beans
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 16, 2015 -- Stay Roasted (http://www.stayroasted.com) provides the locally roasted coffee experience by delivering freshly roasted coffee beans directly from 30 craft coffee roasters from across the United States. For coffee plan subscribers, each shipment originates from their roaster of choice and is sent directly to their doorstep immediately after roasting. All plans refill on a biweekly schedule so shipments only need to be just enough coffee to last two weeks (the peak flavor and freshness window for whole roasted coffee beans).
Stay Roasted founder Andrew Vaught says, “Most online coffee clubs are repackaging large wholesale orders and then sending a month’s worth of coffee at a time to customers. We feel this is a huge disservice to coffee drinkers since their beans are being double shipped and half of the shipment ends up going stale. We want to deliver the absolute freshest, locally roasted coffee experience to our subscribers no matter where they live.”
To introduce a variety of local favorite coffee roasters to a national audience, Stay Roasted has developed the concept of the Roaster Lineup. Much like a Netflix or iTunes playlist, subscribers can queue up any combination of available craft roasters that they want at no extra cost. Perhaps this week it’s Firelight Coffee Roasters (Atlanta, GA), two weeks later it’s Northbound Coffee Roasters (Mt. Shasta, CA), after that it’s Toby’s Estate Coffee Roasters (Brooklyn, NY), and so on.
Coffee plans can be further customized by setting a coffee style (Single Origin or Blend) and Roast Level (Lighter or Darker). Roasters use these preferences to hand-select which coffees to send. Andrew Vaught adds, “Who better to show us amazing coffees to drink than the roaster. We wanted our roasters to be able to show off their favorite, in-season coffees while also staying within the taste preferences of our subscribers.”
