SteelMaster Has a Round of Golf for a Great Cause
Virginia Beach, VA (PRWEB) June 13, 2014 -- Last Thursday, SteelMaster Buildings participated in the 2014 People in Need Annual Golf Tournament. People in Need Ministries, or "PiN Ministries," is a Virginia Beach charity that was founded in 2002 with the goal of feeding and sheltering Virginia Beach's homeless population.
With the help of numerous donors, including SteelMaster, PiN Ministries has grown to become a cornerstone of our community.
PiN Ministries' mission of providing shelter resonates with us here at SteelMaster because that's what we do, too. Of course, PiN Ministries also provides food, clothing, medical care and drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs. The task of finding solutions to the shelter needs of those less fortunate is one we feel a personal responsibility for. We are proud to be a part of PiN's fundraising efforts.
The Annual Golf Tournament is one of several fundraising events PiN holds throughout the year, and has become a favorite here at SteelMaster. Held at the Signature at West Neck, a beautiful course in our hometown Virginia Beach, this year's tournament was sponsored by SteelMaster and featured two of our own, Marketing Director Michelle Wickum and CFO Karen Willis.
We had a great deal of fun at this year's tournament, and we look forward to raising even more money for PiN in next year's tournament.
