Warren, VT (PRWEB) October 20, 2015 -- Bob Ackland, Founder and Managing Partner of Steep Management, LLC, has long recognized that leadership is the key to successful management and that there is a constant challenge in the ski resort community of meeting the need of development training. With this sense of need, Steep is excited to be able to offer this course in a manner which should prove easy for the student and at a cost affordable to individuals and ski resorts.
The on line learning process has made tremendous gains in recent years and today's technology allows the use of various forms of teaching and learning. This initial course by Steep is a simple presentation of the attributes and virtues of leadership, relating to a ski resort environment.
The course is a foundational one, it won’t make the student a leader, it provides the blocks she can build on to become the leader she aspires to be. Leaders don’t have to be managers or presidents of companies, a ski patroller sitting in a patrol shack can be a leader, or a snowmaker on the hill at night running guns with a team of fellow snowmakers, can be the leader that keeps guns firing and snow piling up. The ski industry needs leaders throughout its ranks. The hope is that this helps all students taking the course to become one of the leaders of the future.
