Steve Helwig & Associates Joins the Family Promise Organization in Joint Charity Drive to Benefit Homeless South Carolina Residents
Hilton Head Island, SC (PRWEB) April 18, 2016 -- Steve Helwig & Associates, a South Carolina-based insurance firm that serves Hilton Head Island and other nearby communities, is joining the Family Promise Organization, a local non-profit organization, in a charity effort to provide support and assistance to underprivileged families in the area.
The Family Promise Organization is committed to providing homeless families in the Beaufort County with food, shelter, and supportive services as they transition to permanent housing. Moreover, Family Promise works to provide these families with the knowledge and resources necessary to ensure a life of independence and prosperity in their new home.
“80% of Family Promise clients have found permanent housing, but our work isn’t done unless all the families in our community are able to lead happy, fulfilling, and productive lives in a home of their own,” says Steve Helwig, founder and owner of Steve Helwig & Associates.
