Steven Douglas Associates to Sponsor Inaugural What's Your Taste Event Benefiting Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Fort Lauderdale, Florida (PRWEB) February 09, 2016 -- Steven Douglas Associates is a sponsor of the What's Your Taste Event, previously known as the Taste of South Florida Event, an upscale fundraiser held in South Florida. The Inaugural What’s Your Taste event will have a new, exciting format designed to wow sponsors and guests alike. This year the event will be held in a new, more causal format at the Fort Lauderdale home of Tanya Lynn Sabel and Andrew Heller, located on one of the premier lots on the Intracoastal Waterway.
Attendees will get to experience delicious food from the best local chefs representing ten exceptional South Florida restaurants including Mai- Kai Restaurant, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Oceans2000, and 3030 Ocean. Attendees will also have the chance to participate in a silent, live, and Bid for A Cure auctions all directly benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. There will also be over 50 specialty spirits, fine wines from world-renowned vintners, and local craft beers for guests to enjoy.
Over the past several years, this event has raised between $100,000 - $150,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Dan Hafetz, Managing Director of Steven Douglas Associates, one of the co-chairs of the What’s Your Taste Event the last several years says, “Each year, we have been able to raise money that has really helped those afflicted with the disease with better quality of life and longer life expectancy, but we need to continue to raise money and awareness so we can find a cure for this debilitating and life threatening disease. There is nothing better than to invite family, friends and pillars of the South Florida community to an amazing upscale event to help fight for the cure.”
The What’s Your Taste Event directly benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a nonprofit, donor-supported organization. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis and is dedicated to support the development of new drugs to fight the disease. Through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s efforts, the life expectancy of those with the disease has nearly doubled in the past 30 years.
