Stewart Cellars Now Welcomes Guests in Yountville
Yountville, CA (PRWEB) August 29, 2016 -- Stewart Cellars in Yountville is now open and ready to welcome guests. Located at the north end of town (6752 Washington Street, Yountville, CA), Stewart Cellars was designed by Arcanum Architecture, an award-winning firm that specializes in both hospitality and residential projects, and the interior was designed by Ken Fulk, one of the Bay Area’s most sought after interior designers. The graceful indoor-outdoor property features three stone buildings oriented around an existing heritage oak tree creating a seamless union where guests can flow indoors and outdoors easily.
“Our family is from Texas, and this is our first Napa Valley home,” owner James Stewart explained. “We aspired to create an effortless place where people can get together, take their time, relax, and enjoy being in the moment. We invite all of our guests to feel at home and spend the day at Stewart Cellars.”
Inspired by ancient Scottish ruins, a nod to the Stewart family heritage, the experiences take place in the Tasting Hall, NOMAD Heritage Library and Gather Café by Stewart Cellars. The largest of the three buildings, the Tasting Hall, is a dark wood-accented space featuring vaulted ceilings and a horseshoe shaped tasting bar. Nearly floor to ceiling doors open to courtyard views as well as community and intimate gathering spaces for wine tastings. A flight of five of the Stewart Cellars wines (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and two Cabernet Sauvignons) will be offered daily in the Tasting Hall from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ($40/per person).
The NOMAD Heritage Library is a bohemian bookstore and luxe wine tasting space complete with oversized wood-burning fireplace and a covered outdoor terrace. The library will host private tastings that showcase current and select library vintages of the Stewart Cabernet Sauvignon and NOMAD Beckstoffer Las Piedras Cabernet Sauvignon from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ($85/per person). Reservations are required.
Gather Café by Stewart Cellars, a fast casual café, will feature culinary offerings by Chef Sarah Heller, including a fresh juice of the day, greens, grains and breakfast, ideal for both locals and visitors alike. Just outside the café, two shady courtyards offer an abundance of laid-back seating for enjoying a quick snack, a glass of wine, or a healthy lunch. Visitors can relax on a vintage daybed layered with pillows, enjoy the scenery in Adirondack chairs, or have a seat at small bistro tables or the communal picnic table located in the courtyard. As the sun sets, candlelight from the custom lanterns glow for a romantic, celebratory experience.
