Stoever Glass & Co. Bows Radio Program, "MuniMatters," on South Florida's 880 The Biz
Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) April 17, 2017 -- Stoever Glass Wealth Management, the nation's oldest municipal bond firm, is expanding its investor education and outreach efforts through MuniMatters, a new radio program focusing on the intersection of finance and politics, Wednesdays at 6 pm beginning April 19, with rebroadcasts Saturdays at 3 pm. MuniMatters airs on 880 AM The Biz, Miami, part of the Wall Street Business Network.
Roland Stoever, president of Stoever Glass and a 25-year veteran of the municipal bond industry, explained the decision to launch the program.
“Throughout our fifty-plus year history, Stoever Glass has always been committed to educating our clients and the public about the place of municipal bonds in a well-managed portfolio,” Stoever said. “When we opened an office in Boca Raton last year it was an opportunity to look at different ways of reaching out to a new audience.
“Many longtime investors have munis as part of their holdings, but haven’t given much thought as to why, or how to maximize their potential,” he continued. “If we can shine a little light on this corner of the industry, that’s a service; if we can convince listeners to take a more active interest position in munis, so much the better.”
Mr. Stoever leads the discussion, focusing on the basics of municipal bonds such as their history, uses, and how they work for investors and issuers. Every week he invites guests including industry figures, analysts, and government officials to delve more deeply into particular aspects of bonds, including insights into current political events that affect public financing.
