He brings over 25 years of diverse experience in accounting, sales and software consulting to the growing Strategies Group team. As a Software Consultant, Shoop’s responsibilities include providing implementation consulting services for customers using Spectrum Construction Accounting ERP Software from Dexter + Chaney.
Shoop holds a degree in Finance from Georgia State University. His experience includes 10+ years as a CFO/Controller in the construction industry. He also served as a Senior Consultant helping Contractors get to the next level of their business. Shoop also served as a Project Manager overseeing numerous full-cycle enterprise accounting software implementations throughout his career. As a former contracting business owner, he has a passion for helping contractors overcome their everyday challenges and loves celebrating their successes. He enjoys his “down-time” sharing new experiences with friends, his wife, daughter, two sons, three labs and cat.
