Is it too early to teach coding? Stratford School tackles this question, in the “Coding Skills in Preschool” workshop presented by leading curriculum developers and trainers, Candi Schreuders and Monisha Gupta. Attendees will learn by using non-technical tools, hands-on activities, and essential implementation techniques designed to help STEM educators successfully teach early coding skills to three-year-olds.
At the heart of Stratford School’s education is a curriculum infused with STEM learning, and traditional liberal arts. Key to preparing the next generation of problem-solvers, innovators, and leaders. Stratford begins teaching the fundamentals of coding in Preschool, fostering curiosity in students to become future creators, versus consumers, of technology. When introduced in a fun and intuitive way, STEAM skills develop naturally and with joy.
