StreetTrek Solutions, Motorola Application Provider, Launches New Branding, Expanded Website

Formerly known as StreetTrek, the Brooklyn-based company has rebranded itself as StreetTrek Solutions to showcase a broader range of products beyond its flagship StreetTrek GPS tracking and asset management software for MOTOTRBO™ digital radios.
"Because GPS software is only one part of what we do, we made the decision to change the company name and to rethink our product category names to align them with their benefits to end-users," said President Leonard Knigin. For example, StreetTrek Mail Servers, which enable the transmission of work orders from various applications over MOTOTRBO™ radios, have been rebranded as JobTrek Servers. The product formerly known as TrboDVR Platinum Server has been rebranded as VoiceTrek Server, to reflect its ability to record voice traffic over MOTOTRBO™ radios.
The new website is also designed to generate leads for authorized Motorola dealers looking to expand their sales of MOTOTRBO™ radios by adding software applications. "We are in the process of developing a dealer locator that will enable an end-user to find the Motorola dealer closest to them," Mr. Knigin said. "Our first step is to reach out to the nationwide pool of dealers to gather their location and contact information. As we receive this information, it will be added to our database and rolled out to the website dealer locator." Authorized Motorola dealers who have not done so can enter their contact information at streettrek.com/dealerinfo.
Additional innovations on the website are comparison charts that enable dealers and users to quickly identify the StreetTrek Solution that meets their specific needs. Also available are downloadable product sheets that dealers can offer their clients to demonstrate the benefits of each solution. "Our goal is to partner with Motorola dealers to facilitate MOTOTRBO™ and StreetTrek Solutions software sales," Mr. Knigin said. "We see our new website as a great tool to help them match our product offerings with their customers' requirements."
