STRIATUS/JBJS, Inc. Announces American Diabetes Association Participation in PRE-val

STRIATUS/JBJS, Inc. is proud to announce that the American Diabetes Association (ADA)—publishers of the journals Diabetes®, Diabetes Care®, Clinical Diabetes®, and Diabetes Spectrum®—has signed on to participate in PRE-val. Diabetes and Diabetes Care will be the first two ADA journals to participate.
PRE-val (Peer Review Evaluation Validation) is a new service that helps to validate the peer review process delivered by journals that are committed to legitimate peer review practices. PRE-val helps to increase the level of trust and transparency around peer review and helps readers discover quality published research.
By participating in PRE-val, ADA is helping to recognize the valuable effort of editors and reviewers who ensure that their journals publish the best material. By offering their community a free tool available upon publication, the journals will set themselves apart from other publications where a variety of approaches to peer review exist.
