Stridalyzer Smart Insoles, fitness device that helps prevent Running Injuries, starts shipping to worldwide testers

Stridalyzer, unlike any other wearable fitness tracking device, can estimate, analyze and alert runners instantly about potential foot injury and, more uniquely, knee injury problem. Stridalyzer tracks the fundamental aspects of running form and style allowing runners to achieve better performances. Stridalyzer’s successful Kickstarter campaign that ended in January, where they were backed by 303 backers enabled the company to move the product to manufacturing phase. “We plan to use the first set of samples to get more feedback from various experts around the world”, says Anshuman Singh, Founder of ReTiSense. “We will use this feedback to further improve our insoles and the associated user experience for Stridalyzer. We place immense importance on feedback and advice from our supporters, backers and testers. We believe in keeping lines of communication open to listen and learn on the way to building the best suited product for runners.” ReTiSense has identified 50 individuals from around the world, that include a diverse mix of runners, coaches, trainers, doctors, technologists, bloggers and reporters to test the product.
The connected-shoe and footwear devices has seen intense interest this year, with various sports apparel manufacturers as well as wearable device companies working aggressively to bring products to market to capture the fitness wearables market, which Gartner estimates to be worth more than $5 Billion by the year 2017.
Stridalyzer is scheduled for volume production in early May. ReTiSense plans to start shipping the product to its Kickstarter backers and pre–order customers in mid May.
