The release of S-FOUNDATION 2014 complements S-FRAME concrete solutions S-CONCRETE Design, S-LINE Design and S-FRAME Analysis.
S-FOUNDATION is a complete analysis, design and detailing solution for both complex and simple foundation configurations. Using interactive pick and drop tools, the engineer can quickly define Isolated, Combined, Continuous, Wall, and Strap Footings, as well as Mat and Pile Foundations, with or without Pile Supports, while S-FOUNDATION automatically generates and manages the underlying FEA model using proven S-FRAME Software meshing and solver technology.
S-FOUNDATION runs as a stand-alone solution, but also includes two-way S-FRAME Analysis links that automatically apply foundation loading conditions and afterwards, integrates the optimized foundation model with the S-FRAME Superstructure model for a more detailed soil-structure interaction analysis. In addition S-FOUNDATION features powerful workflow automation tools via the Toolbox Extension Library and Macro creation tools that allow companies to extend S-Foundation’s functionality, either by downloading, modifying or creating customized processes to save and distribute throughout an organization.
As with other R11 S-FRAME Software offerings, S-FOUNDATION includes powerful BIM links, advanced 3D model visualization, and comprehensive PDF and MS Excel reports. S-FOUNDATION supports ACI 318-11 & CSA A23.3-04 concrete design codes. Additionally, S-FRAME will release an S-FOUNDATION online training class.
