Student Osteopathic Medical Association Foundation Names Tal Frank to Advisory Board
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) June 23, 2015 -- PhysicianLoans – the premier provider of home mortgage loans for medical professionals and the Student Osteopathic Medical Association Foundation today announced the selection of Physician Loans President Tal Frank to its Advisory Board.
Working in conjunction with the Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA), the Foundation is an entirely separate entity that collaborates through sponsorship of philanthropic projects, research initiatives, community outreach, medical education and student scholarships.
The Foundation created the advisory board to bring students and donors together at a face-to-face meeting. During the meeting, Foundation leadership provides an update regarding the year’s activity and holds discussions with benefactors about how to better satisfy the needs of donors, while enhancing the future efforts of the Foundation.
“Tal Frank and PhysicianLoans have been collaborating and supporting the Foundation for a number of years and during that time has watched it expand and grow; he has also proven himself as a supporter of students and medical education,” explained Melanie Ezra, SOMA Foundation membership director and third-year medical student. “We believe Tal will give us a unique perspective of how the Foundation can diversify its donors and improve communication with businesses.”
Currently the advisory board is made up of five members who have all been chosen by the SOMA Foundation National Board Committee.

"I am delighted to join SOMA Foundation's advisory board and look forward to using my skills to provide even greater support for today’s medical students and residents.”
