This latest addition to the EVO product family is an affordable, flexible, SSD/SATA shared storage server and workflow appliance for compact spaces and field use.
EVO is a complete shared media storage server that includes project/asset management functionality, quota features, and storage scalability for production teams of any size. The “All in One Box” EVO system combines a 4K-ready high-performance storage array with extensive connectivity options including 10Gb Ethernet and Fibre Channel. EVO Prodigy is a robust 1U shared media storage system ideal for studios with limited rack space, smaller teams, on-location, and mobile/ENT/DIT use.
EVO Prodigy features a 16” deep 1RU chassis that accommodates four 2.5” enterprise edition SATA disks in a RAID 0, 5, or 6. The system also supports SSD disks, and includes two GbE ports for NAS and SAN access. Additional ports of GbE, 10GbE, or Fibre Channel are optionally available.

File metadata can be instantly indexed to the database, and users can more easily find, preview, and share media assets and projects allowing content creators to collaborate more efficiently. Together EVO and ShareBrowser unlock features like project/bin/media sharing functionality for leading video applications from Adobe, Apple, Avid and others.
