Sturtevant Agency Launches Community Charity Campaign to Benefit Children who are Battling Cancer at the University of New Mexico Children's Hospital
Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) October 10, 2016 -- The Sturtevant Agency, a New Mexico-based insurance and financial planning firm with offices headquartered in Bernalillo County, is embarking on a charity drive to raise funds that will be donated to the University of New Mexico Children's Hospital.
The only dedicated children’s hospital in New Mexico, the UNM Children's Hospital is nationally recognized for providing cutting edge care and treatment for many forms of pediatric cancer. Donations from this charity event will be provided directly to the Child Life Center at UNM, a facility that bridges the gap between home and hospital by offering pediatric patients a place to enjoy games, friends, birthdays, and holidays while receiving care.
“To overcome cancer, children need more than just medicine – they need friends, family, and a whole lot of love, which makes the Child Life Center at UNM the most important facility in the entire hospital,” says Allen Sturtevant, owner and acting manager of the Sturtevant Agency.
