Style, Beauty and Celebrity Unite for a Great Cause at All-Star Weekend
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) February 10, 2015 -- The excitement of the NBA All-Star weekend is the perfect backdrop to showcase the contributions from Behind the Bench - The National Basketball Wives Association. One of these is the annual “Touching a Life Gala” to be held on Friday, February 13, 2015, starting at 5 p.m. in the Marriott Marquis Hotel, 1535 Broadway in New York City.
BioTE ® Medical, a nationally recognized leader in hormone replacement therapy, is pleased to announce its sponsorship of this must-attend All-Star Weekend event benefiting the American Cancer Society.
The Honorees for this year's gala include:
--- Peggy and Kiki VanDeWeghe – Trailblazer Award
--- Amber and CC Sabathia – Game Changer Award
--- Jackque Marks – Heart of Courage Award
A celebrity fashion show, featuring NBA superstars Carlos Boozer, Jack McClinton, Dorrell Weight and many others will highlight this year's gala. According to event organizers, “Style, beauty and celebrity unite to support a great cause!”
Andrea Jones, vice-president of marketing for BioTE ® Medical noted, “We are delighted to be a part of the great work of the National Basketball Wives Association during the NBA All-Star weekend. Since we believe the health and vitality for professional athletes and their spouses can be achieved through hormone optimization, we want to show our support of this outstanding organization.”
BioTE® Medical is committed to offering a “playbook” for professional athletes which bridges the gap from their exit in professional sports, to their beginning of the second and often more rewarding chapter of their life. Unlike their athletic playbook this one includes their spouse and could possibly include their parents.
This playbook offers opportunities for all to play in the health and wellness game which will ultimately improve their day to day life, their relationships, and their next career step. Thus allowing for excess energy in order to keep up with their children, in maintaining adequate muscle mass, and in remaining lean; ultimately benefiting in overall self-esteem.
BioTE® Medical is committed to helping with that challenge. Adding to a more fulfilling life both on and off the field or court.
