Summit Hills Recognizes Graduate of Executive Director Training Program
Spartanburg, SC (PRWEB) November 01, 2013 -- Summit Hills, Spartanburg’s premier retirement community, recognized Cory Hoots as a graduate of the community’s ‘Evolve’ program.

Evolve is an educational program started by Summit Hills to help current management employees enhance their knowledge on the various aspects of the Executive Director position by spending 120-hours in 10 focus areas of the retirement community, which include Dining Services, Sales and Marketing, Budget and Finance, Healthcare (Assisted Living, Alzheimer’s Care and Skilled Nursing Care), Maintenance and Housekeeping, Member Services, Business Office Management, Leadership and Management, Home Office Relations and Regulatory Requirements. Hoots completed the program, offered in conjunction with current community responsibilities, in six months.
Hoots has worked at Summit Hills for two and a half years as the Director of Facility Services. The highlight of the program for Hoots was "learning the details of community happenings that occur behind the scenes."
