Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Grand Opening of New WineStyles Tasting Station
Sun Prairie, Wisconsin (PRWEB) September 06, 2017 -- WineStyles Tasting Station®, a hybrid retail / wine bar concept dedicated to simplifying the wine and craft beer shopping experience, announces the Grand Opening celebration of its newest location at The Shoppes at Prairie Lakes, in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.
Monday, September 18th starts the official Grand Opening week-long celebration. To celebrate with the local community, the store will give away a pair of wine glasses to the first 100 customers who join the Wine Club. Guests will also earn $5- $15 in Bottle Bucks with any $45 to $100 in-store purchase.
The official ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for September 19th at 2:15pm. Other events include wine tastings on Wednesday and Thursday at 5:30pm and Oktoberfest beer / cheese tasting on Friday September 22 at 5:30pm. During the “Grand Tasting” extravaganza event on Saturday, September 23rd at 4:00pm – 6:00pm, guests will enjoy a complimentary tasting of up to 40 different wines and beers!

New owners and operators of the Sun Prairie location, Curtis and Heather Knox are 20 year residents of the East Madison/Sun Prairie Area and small business owners in Sun Prairie for over three years, opening Elements Massage in 2014. “We love doing business in Sun Prairie and wanted a fun place for people to come and enjoy great wine or beer,” said Curtis Knox. “We also wanted a store where our customers could expand their knowledge without worrying about being intimidated.” Heather learned her love of wine from her father, who always said "the best wine is the one you love." “We couldn't agree more. We want our customers to come in and be our friends, try something new, and find something they love every time they come in the door.”
WineStyles Tasting Station has also partnered with Purple Heart Wines, donating $1.00 for every glass of wine poured or bottle purchased, to the Purple Heart Foundation. “For over 50 years, the Purple Heart Foundation has been serving our military veterans and families,” said Curtis Knox. We are honored to give back to such a worthy cause, and will continue our donation drive September through November 11th, culminating with a special tasting event on Veteran’s Day.”
The WineStyles Tasting Station in Sun Prairie will offer a unique retail experience and warm ambiance that is reminiscent of an old-world wine cellar. Wines are categorized by style and taste, rather than by varietal or region, which helps to simplify the shopping experience. The selection includes a rotation of unique labels and hard-to-find wines from both small and large vineyards from around the world. Each bottle is accompanied by a description listing the wine’s characteristics, flavors and suggested food pairings.
Additionally, the WineStyles Tasting Station features a full wine bar with numerous wines by the glass and a selection of food, craft beers on tap, hand-made fine chocolates and artisan cheeses. Furthermore, the store offers a variety of gifts and wine accessories including customizable gift baskets, monthly wine, beer, and cheese clubs, and a frequent buyer program. The location also features weekly wine and beer tastings, private event opportunities, as well as education classes.
