Sunland RV Resorts’ Five San Diego Area Properties Will Be Toys for Tots Donation Locations
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) November 25, 2013 -- Sunland RV Resorts’ five San Diego area properties are excited to announce they will be public donation locations for the 2013 Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation gift drive.
Collection will kick off Nov. 25 at each of the resorts and will continue through Dec. 20. According to the Toys for Tots official website, all toys should be donated unwrapped. Gifts are accepted for children up to 16 years old. Realistic looking toy weapons and gifts with food, if donated, will not be distributed.
“As the holidays arrive, we’re reminded how important it is to be a contributing member of our communities,” stated Greg Sidoroff, Sunland RV Resorts’ Vice President of Operations. “We’re happy to be a donation location for the wonderful Toys for Tots Foundation, and hope to see our guests, staff and community members all participate in collecting toys for the children of San Diego.”
While purchasing items for smaller children is a pretty simple task, donors often wonder what to get pre-teens and teens. The website recommends sporting equipment, toiletries, board games, books, hand-held electronics and similar items.

Toys for Tots donation boxes will be set up at each of Sunland’s San Diego RV resorts starting Monday, November 25.
