SuperBreak Report a Rise in Staycations this Easter

London and Edinburgh are leading the way as the firm’s top UK destinations for Easter, with Central England and Yorkshire also proving to be a popular choice. The rise in revenue has stretched across SuperBreak’s full product range as they see a booking growth of 31% year-on-year for Easter breaks in 2015.
Customers planning an Easter break with the tour operator will be able to choose from a variety of 2-5* hotels across the UK and Europe, plus a choice of flexible travel options including return rail journeys and flights from a number of key UK airports. London theatre breaks during Easter have consistently been a popular choice for SuperBreak with this year’s online sales rising a further 8% year-on-year. Disney’s The Lion King and Wicked are the musical favourites for 2015, whilst Jersey Boys and Les Miserables were the most popular choices for an Easter theatre break last year. Paris continues to be a strong favourite with the short break specialist reporting a 6% increase in revenue compared to last year. The firm expects to see Paris bookings increase even further in the lead up to Easter as they extend their current sightseeing offer until the 3rd April 2015. Customers looking to book a central Paris break between now and the beginning of April will receive a free river cruise worth €13pp enabling visitors to see some of the city’s top attractions including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre and Champs-Elysées.
