Supply Services of Swaziland Outlines Numerous Economic Advancements Taking Place in Swaziland
Swaziland, Africa (PRWEB) October 21, 2013 -- Supply Services of Swaziland (S3) today announced a sod turning event in Swaziland marking the official start of an economic development plan designed to ensure the energy independence needed for future development projects in Swaziland.
Swaziland’s King Mswati led the event, which also featured executives from Supply Services of Swaziland and contractor American Tank & Vessel. More than 4,000 people witnessed the ground breaking ceremony officially launching the construction of a 90-day Strategic Petroleum Reserve, which is strategically located at the junction of several roads and rail lines in Phuzomoya.
Once completed, this petroleum reserve will service much of Southern Africa, and will be instrumental in the development of future projects such as schools, infrastructure projects, and completion of the national airport - which will serve as a cargo hub for much of South Africa.
At the sod turning event, King Mswati said he believes this project will demonstrate to the business and investment community that Swaziland is a preferred business destination. “The world continues to show confidence in Swaziland, and today marks a major step forward in our economic development,” said Swaziland’s King Mswati. "When businesses invest in Enswati, they are investing in the hub of peace and tranquility."
