Surf & Stream Campground Had a Full House for Fourth of July Weekend
Toms River, New Jersey (PRWEB) July 14, 2015 -- Independence Day brought in a full house to Surf & Stream Campground. Guests took part in games, crafts, as well as enjoyed the annual Fourth of July picnic and various area events.
The fun kicked off on Thursday with Kid’s Game Night as campers battled against one another in multiple games of corn hole. The contestants enjoyed themselves as they munched on Philadelphia Pretzels and soda. Friday night the little ones were entertained with popcorn at the movies while adults relaxed by the pool.
On Saturday, young campers designed tic-tac-toe boards painted patriotic colors in morning crafts. Adults joined the fun by making stars in red, white and blue. Endless food was served at the Fourth of July picnic that evening including six foot heroes, salads, ice cream, cake and watermelon. DJ Joe provided the music getting everyone on their feet dancing as others went on a hayride around the campground.
After a filling pancake breakfast on Sunday, kids were excited to partake in pony rides. The rest of the day guests soaked up the sun poolside or at the beach followed by bingo in the afternoon. Another round of entertainment by DJ Joe and hayrides closed out the night leaving vacationers with a memorable weekend.
