Surging Media Group Inks Deal with ABC Bachelor Pad’s Nick Peterson to Develop New Reality Series
Miami, FL (PRWEB) August 02, 2013 -- Surging Media Group expands its television department and inks a deal with ABC Bachelor Pad’s Nick Peterson of Tampa FL, to develop new reality series 'Courting America', Executive Produced and co-created by reality television veteran Sergio Myers and Nick Peterson.
Myers, who is head of creative and marketing for SMG and who executive produced the NatGeo Wild reality series 'Croc Catchers' said, "We are really excited to work with Nick. Although the viewers were torn when Nick delivered one of the most memorable reality TV moments on Bachelor Pad last Sept, with 'Courting America' viewers will really get a chance to see what Nick is all about when there is no big pay day involved."
In the series, Peterson tries to vindicate himself from the preconceived notions that the viewers have about him after choosing money over love. Initial filming for the pilot will take place in Miami FL, and Nashville TN. In Nashville Nick will attempt to court Miss Alabama 2013 Mary Margaret McCord. "I know I have an uphill battle ahead of me, not one woman in America trusts me right now, but I really am a good guy!" according to Peterson.
Sergio Myers, whose credits include NatGeo Wild Croc Catchers, MTV’s Sorority Life, Fraternity Life, feature film The Zombinator, SpikeTV’s 10 Things Every Guy Should Experience.
