Survalent Technology Commissions New Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) for West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative

West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation (WKRECC) provides power to more than 31,000 members in Western Kentucky. Headquartered in Mayfield, Kentucky, the Cooperative serves members in Graves, Carlisle, Calloway, Livingston, Hickman and Marshall Counties in Kentucky and in Henry County, Tennessee. WKRECC is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative and they are a member of the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association (TVPPA), the Kentucky Association of Electric Cooperatives (KAEC) and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).
The new system features Survalent’s highly available, open-architecture system based on Windows Server. It includes Survalent's open system applications, including: SmartVU, Command Sequencing, Disturbance Data Capture, Event Data Recording, SCADA Add-In, IED Wizard and Control Panel, Remote Alarm Annunciation, Master/Slave Alarm Suppression, Switch Order Preparation, NDA API/PI Interface, MultiSpeak, System Configuration Status (SCS), SCADA Replicator, and WebSurv.
