Survey: Efforts to Reduce Genital Herpes Stigma Adds Fuel to the Fire; polyDNA Answers Survey Questions and Recommends Gene-Eden-VIR against the Latent HSV-2
Rochester, NY (PRWEB) January 24, 2014 -- The stigma associated with genital herpes can negatively impact a person’s emotional and sexual life. This is a difficult stigma to overcome. Some individuals reported that when they tried to reduce the stigma, their efforts actually made the situation worse. In polyDNA’s latest survey, many respondents said that, even when they provided their partners with accurate information, worked to remove misconceptions, or expressed moral outrage, the stigma remained.
The results obtained by the polyDNA survey are consistent with the findings of a study published in the journal of Sexual Health in November 2012. (See the article, “Reducing the stigma of herpes simplex virus infection: lessons from an online video contest.”) (1)
“Herpes has a stigma attached to it that even HIV doesn’t have anymore,” said Dr. Anna Wald, a virologist at the University of Washington. “It’s very rare to get people to talk about it as openly.” (See the article in the New York Times from May 26, 2010) (2).
Common emotions associated with the stigma of genital herpes include “fear of rejection associated with telling current and future sexual partners, even if the current partner also has herpes.” In addition, people feel distressed, confused over the way they became infected, sad, and disappointed in themselves. (See the Journal of Health Psychology, January 2011) (3).
As a result of the stigma associated with genital herpes, people may stop having sex for a short time, or altogether. “…people may experience a decrease in their sex drive and an avoidance of sexual situations due to anxiety about telling potential partners (3).”
“There is still no cure for avoiding the delicate topic with your partner. The disease is potentially contagious before or after noticeable outbreaks, and condoms are less protective than against AIDS, since genital herpes also spreads through skin contact (2).”
polyDNA believes people do not have to live with the stigma of genital herpes. As study authors wrote, “Psychological symptoms remitted when physical symptoms lessened… (3).” In other words, once the frequency of genital herpes outbreaks lessened or stopped completely, people felt better about themselves.
“We believe people should take Gene-Eden-VIR to help their immune system target the latent HSV-2 virus. A clinical study showed that Gene-Eden-VIR decreased symptoms associated with a herpes infection. Using the results reported in the Journal of Health Psychology study, we can conclude that Gene-Eden-VIR will also reduce the psychological anxieties of infected individuals.”– Mike Evans, polyDNA
In a post marketing clinical study published on August 12, 2013 in the medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs, researchers showed that Gene-Eden-VIR is safe and effective (4). Additionally, up to 70% of those studied reported a decrease in viral symptoms, and users experienced an increase in overall health (4).
Each ingredient of Gene-Eden-VIR was chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals around the world to identify the safest, most effective natural ingredients that target the latent HSV-2. (4)

polyDNA is a biotechnology company that develops dietary supplements using the unique scientific method developed by Dr. Hanan Polansky, which is based on Computer Intuition.
In addition to his unique scientific method, Dr. Polansky published the highly acclaimed scientific discovery, called Microcompetition with Foreign DNA. The discovery explains how foreign DNA fragments, and specifically, DNA of latent viruses, cause most major diseases.
polyDNA developed Gene-Eden-VIR , an antiviral natural remedy that helps the immune system kill latent viruses.
