Swiss Diamond Partners with Goodwill® for Nationwide Buyback Program
CHARLOTTE, NC (PRWEB) July 01, 2015 -- Swiss Diamond, in collaboration with Goodwill, is excited to announce the launch of a nationwide pan buyback program to give back to communities. From July 1 through September 30, consumers may bring in one pan of any brand to receive $20 off purchases of Swiss Diamond products valued at $80 or more. The luxury cookware manufacturer produces a complete line of products suitable for use on standard and induction stove tops. Real diamond crystals in the patented nonstick coating provide superior performance, increasing both thermal conductivity and durability of the cookware.
The cookware received through this program will be donated to Goodwill, where the items will be sold and the revenues will be used to help fund job training and placement services as well as community-based services, such as financial education and transportation, for people with disabilities and disadvantages. The program will be supported through a co-branded webpage listing participating retailers and other promotional assets. Web Browning, Swiss Diamond’s National Sales Director, comments, “Swiss Diamond is very excited to partner with Goodwill for the buyback program. Our retailers are eager to participate in this initiative as it provides a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community. Goodwill strives to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families. This mission will be supported by the used cookware donated through this program.”
“Goodwill is grateful to the generosity of consumers looking to change their cookware,” said Jim Gibbons, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries International. “Their donations will have a positive impact on their local communities by creating jobs across the country, and by providing services so that people have the resources they need to build their careers and their futures.”
