TAG Reveals 2013 Excalibur Award Winners
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 30, 2013 -- The winners of the 2013 TAG Excalibur Awards were announced Friday during a special ceremony at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel that attracted an audience of more than 400 leaders from Georgia’s business community.
The Annual TAG Excalibur Awards celebrates Georgia companies and organizations that demonstrate the best use of technology, typically developed in-house or provided by a third-party, to solve complex issues and processes that impact their operations.
This year’s award winners were selected in 5 categories:
PUBLIC/NON-PROFIT
• Kennesaw State University
KSU improved its alumni contributions with a unique integrated web and mobile solution.
SMALL COMPANIES
• AchieveIT
AchieveIT automated their marketing content and sales lead efforts through the unconventional use of an email marketing solution.
MID-SIZED COMPANIES
• Mercedes-Benz Buckhead
Mercedes-Benz Buckhead used RFID technology to instantly recognize and service their incoming customers as well as give them the “Star” treatment by projecting their name on flat screens throughout their facility.
LARGE COMPANIES
• UPS
UPS for its use of expansive fleet telematics and advanced algorithms to gather and calculate countless amounts of data for one of the world’s largest operations research projects.
MOST CREATIVE SOLUTION
• National Monuments Foundation
The National Monuments Foundation makes use of interactive environments to build community consensus for its projects.
