Talayah Stovall Urges Others to Start Creating Jobs for Themselves to Cope with High Unemployment Rates with Her New Book, 'Light Bulb Moments'
Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- Most Americans have felt the strain of the last several years, from young people struggling to pay back student loans to the many people who have lost homes or jobs. Many are still struggling to recover, and it can be difficult to cope with the high unemployment rate and other challenges the lower and middle class face. However, Talayah Stovall has a strategy that will help ease some of the pressure for many Americans: creating jobs for yourself.
Ms. Stovall urges others to harness their talents and skills to make their own work, making it a key part of her new book, Light Bulb Moments: 75 Lessons for Everyday Living, which has been endorsed by both Les Brown, and Mark Victor Hansen, founder and co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series. While these jobs may not result in quite enough revenue to pay the bills, she notes the wisdom of having multiple income streams. Diversifying in this way can ensure more income security, and may also allow people to do more of what they’re passionate about. By taking small steps outside of one’s comfort zone, one may discover increased satisfaction with their life isn’t so difficult. Ms. Stovall wants people to know that by unleashing their potential, they can discover how their natural gifts and passions can become their livelihood. This can happen at any age; reinvention is a natural part of life, and there is no such thing as being too old to explore true possibility.

As someone who spent sixteen years in the banking industry before leaving that career behind to follow her true passion, Ms. Stovall truly understands the fear of starting over, and the subsequent rewards of reinvention.
