Tallac Networks Wins Spot in Exclusive Accelerator Program
Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) September 24, 2014 -- Tallac, an SDN cloud-managed Wi-Fi networking company, won a coveted spot in Velocity Venture Capital’s 2014 Entrepreneurs Showcase after competing alongside a select group of regional tech startups this summer in a series of events that included a crowd sourced online voting challenge and the Entrepreneurial Drive golf tournament and pitch contest. Velocity’s Fifth annual Entrepreneurs Showcase, which is held at its non-profit Entrepreneurs Campus in Folsom, CA, is an exclusive accelerator boot camp designed to enhance the capabilities of tech startups and their teams as they grow their business and seek outside investment.

The Velocity Venture Capital accelerator program is a ten-week intensive boot camp where the participating teams receive training, coaching, professional help, and introductions to investors, customers, and partners. In addition to Tallac, this year’s Showcase participants will be: Teru Talk, Trevair, Fora, Localstar, Reechout, California Sunlight, Zoozil, Safer Lock, Invincible Enterprises, Indentachip, Glocol Networks, ResQ Medical, Jamloop, and the Bot7 Company. Showcase Alumni have gone on to raise capital and become profitable.
The accelerator boot camp will end by the first week of December when all companies will present to investors and the general public in a Demo Day pitch fest.
