Tapella & Eberspacher Donates $1,000 to Coles County CASA This December
St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- Tapella & Eberspacher is proud to announce their recent donation of the sum of $1,000 to Coles County CASA this December. The personal injury law firm has donated this amount to the organization for several years. This year, the check was presented on December 16.
Currently, there are 75 children in the Coles County foster court family system. The Coles County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) supports these children, who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected. The organization provides legal counsel and ensures that each of these children are safe and in good homes.
“We continue to support Coles County CASA because we're very much involved with them at a county level,” said Rick Hall, Business Manager at Tapella & Eberspacher. “Also, Bill Tapella is one of our partners, and he has been very active with the board and has been a volunteer with this organization.”
A juvenile court judge appoints the volunteers at Coles County CASA. The advocates are all professionally trained and legally appointed.
This is such an important organization that relates to our profession and assists children who do not have someone that represents them. We plan to continue our financial support and hope that others will do the same, added Hall.
The Coles County CASA is a not-for-profit center that accepts donations, volunteers, and other types of involvement. The donated funds (which are accepted online, by phone, or by mail) are used by the organization to expand programs and to recruit and train volunteers. All donations are tax-deductible.
Tapella & Eberspacher is designated as a “CASA Champion” level donor, who requires a higher level of contributions; the law firm has now been a CASA Champion for several years.
